FAQ
Does SleeveFolio hold my money?
No. SleeveFolio routes orders directly to your broker. We hold your strategy config, your audit log, and your encrypted API keys — never funds.
What does "encrypted" mean for my Alpaca keys?
API secrets are encrypted at rest with a per-user envelope key. Decryption happens server-side only at the moment an order is submitted. Disconnect at any time from Settings → Broker.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing. You keep access through the end of your billing period. Your data — strategy state and audit log — stays for 30 days before deletion.
What is the Paper → Live gate?
6 eligibility checks that must all pass before live trading can be enabled: 2FA enrolled, 30-day paper-trading record, paper Sharpe ≥ 0.7 (risk-adjusted return), max drawdown < 8%, broker–local reconciliation ≤ 5 basis points (0.05%), zero unresolved drift in 7 days.
Do you support brokers other than Alpaca?
Not yet. Alpaca was chosen for its first-class API and free paper environment. IBKR and tastytrade are on the roadmap for Team customers.
Is my audit log private to me?
On Free and Pro: yes. On Team plans, you can opt-in to share audit visibility within your team workspace. SleeveFolio staff never see your audit log.
