FAQ
Does SleeveFolio hold my money?
No. SleeveFolio routes orders directly to your broker. We hold your strategy config, your audit log, and your encrypted API keys, never funds.
What does "encrypted" mean for my Alpaca keys?
API secrets are encrypted at rest with a per-user envelope key. Decryption happens server-side only at the moment an order is submitted. Disconnect at any time from Settings → Broker.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing. You keep access through the end of your billing period, and you can export your full audit history anytime from the Audit page.
What stands between me and live trading?
Two safety checks before live trading turns on: 2FA enrolled, and a clean broker–local reconciliation (no unresolved drift). That's it. We don't gate on performance. It's your money on your own broker. We do recommend paper-trading your strategy first so you're confident before going live.
Do you support brokers other than Alpaca?
Not yet. Alpaca was chosen for its first-class API and free paper environment. IBKR and tastytrade are on the roadmap.
Is my audit log private to me?
Yes. Your audit log is private to your account. SleeveFolio staff never see it. Pro retains it for 7 years; Free keeps the last 30 days. Export it as JSONL anytime (retention length is not tax advice).
