This software is not investment advice. SleeveFolio is a self-directed tool that executes trading decisions you configure. You define and select every strategy; SleeveFolio applies only the objective, pre-set parameters you choose, exercises no investment discretion, and never tailors anything to your personal financial circumstances. Any symbols or changes it proposes for your universe are suggestions you review and approve. It never adds, removes, buys, or sells on its own. You can pause, modify, or kill any strategy at any time, and you are the sole decision-maker. You are solely responsible for every order submitted under your account, for the suitability of any strategy you run, and for the outcome.

Nothing in the app or on this site is a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or crypto asset or to adopt any strategy. We owe you no fiduciary duty and no duty to monitor your account, supervise your strategies, warn you of losses or market events, review the suitability of your configuration, or intervene in your trading. Any safety features we provide (caps, gates, reconciliation, kill-switch) are voluntary conveniences, not assumed duties, and may be changed or removed at any time.

Signals are computation, not recommendations

Signals, scores, ranks, backtests, and any other analytical output are the mechanical result of objective, publicly described parameters that you selected and configured. They are generated identically for every user with the same configuration, are not tailored to your financial situation, objectives, or holdings, and are not a recommendation, endorsement, or solicitation of any security, crypto asset, or strategy. The same is true of any symbols SleeveFolio proposes for your universe: mechanical output of the parameters you set, identical for every user with the same configuration, surfaced only for your review; you approve every change. Output that is wrong, stale, or unprofitable is a risk you accept.

Algorithmic trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor; you can lose some or all of your capital, and with margin you can lose more than you deposit. Software bugs, data-feed failures, network partitions, and broker outages can and do produce losses. You should keep cash reserves outside this system and review your audit log regularly.

Assumption of risk: software and automation

SleeveFolio is software, and software fails. By using it you knowingly accept the risk that: the app may malfunction, crash, or be unavailable, including during market hours and during fast markets; orders may fail to submit, submit late, duplicate, fill at unexpected prices, or fail to cancel; signals may be wrong, stale, or never generated; market data may be delayed, inaccurate, or missing; the kill-switch, caps, reconciliation, and Paper → Live gate may fail to operate as intended; and notifications may not be delivered. Any of these can cause financial loss, including loss greater than you anticipated. You accept these risks as a condition of using SleeveFolio, and you agree that your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the software is to stop using it and disconnect your broker keys.

Your duty to supervise

Automated does not mean unattended. You are responsible for monitoring all activity in your account on an ongoing basis: reviewing orders, fills, positions, and the audit log; confirming the app's state matches your broker's records; and intervening (pausing strategies, canceling orders, liquidating, or disabling live trading) when anything looks wrong. Do not run live strategies you are not in a position to supervise. Maintain independent access to your brokerage account directly through your broker so you can manage positions even when SleeveFolio is unavailable, and keep your kill-switch reachable. If you see an error, stop trading first and investigate second.

No guarantee of availability

SleeveFolio is offered with no uptime commitment and no service-level agreement. We may suspend, throttle, or take the service offline at any time (for maintenance, security, provider outages, or any other reason) including during market hours, without notice. We are not obligated to execute, route, or transmit any order, and we may decline, pause, or unwind automated activity where we believe (in our sole discretion) that doing so protects you, us, or the integrity of the service.

Hypothetical & backtested results

Past performance, paper or live, does not indicate future returns. Paper-trading and backtest results are hypothetical and have inherent limitations: unlike an actual performance record, they do not represent real trading and have not actually been executed, so they may under- or over-compensate for market factors such as lack of liquidity and slippage. Hypothetical results are also designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.

Crypto-asset risk

Crypto assets are highly volatile and speculative. They are not insured by the FDIC or SIPC or any government agency, are lightly and unevenly regulated, and are susceptible to market manipulation, flash crashes, and cybersecurity risk. You can suffer large, immediate, and permanent loss, including total loss. Only trade crypto with funds you can afford to lose entirely.

Market data is provided “as is.” Quotes, bars, fundamentals, filings, and other data come from third-party sources we do not control and may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for any decision.

SleeveFolio never custodies your funds. Your brokerage account is held at your broker (Alpaca), under your agreement with them, and we are not responsible for your broker's acts, omissions, outages, halts, or insolvency. SleeveFolio depends on third parties we do not control (your broker's API, market-data providers, cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment processing) and a failure in any of them can interrupt or corrupt the service. Your relationship with your broker, including any SIPC coverage of your brokerage account, is governed solely by your broker's own agreements.

Eligibility

SleeveFolio is intended for United States residents who are of legal age and have the capacity to enter a binding contract. It is not offered where prohibited by law. You are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, and tax obligations that apply to you in your jurisdiction, and for confirming you are eligible to trade.
